2008 Rules

• All cars must conform to  NHRA Nostalgia Supplement specifications for AA/GS class   The Web site is: www.nhra.com/2007/images/Museum/2007NostagliaSupplement.pdf
• Racers must comply with sponsor requirements
• Dues are paid annually, due on December first for $$300.00 
• Members joining after January 1st can join prior to a given race and be  eligible for all membership benefits. A non-member with a legal car can compete on race day and will receive reduced payouts.
• There will be one mandatory meeting at the conclusion of the racing season. The meeting will include at least one crew member from each team in case of a vote.
• The formula for payouts from the organization will be as follows:  First round 25% ,           Second round 22%, Runner up 21% Win 32%   This formula does not pertain to racetrack or mandated sponsor contributions.
• The point system to decide club champion will mirror the former Goodguys system.
• Members with cars under construction will have full voting rights for one year. If the construction takes longer than one year, the voting rights will be reinstated when the car is finished.
• Participants and crew members at events will conduct themselves in a professional and non-disruptive manner. Any participant who in the opinion of the sanctioning track management engages in unsportsmanlike conduct or conduct detrimental to the sport of racing will be held accountable.
• Any member that willfully violates the above stated rules will be subject to disciplinary actions  up to and including expulsion from the club.
